Description: T. W. J. Collection. Details technically satisfy requirements for a "full head" designation -- hair line, ear hole, etc. -- yet as always, always seen for 1930-S, the balance of details are fuzzy and not that well struck. The cataloger has had the pleasure of building two full sets of high grade coins for clients, and this has to be the most curiously struck emission from the entire series, as they appear to have all been struck off of worn dies. Nevertheless, stunning satiny luster emanates from each side, rendering this a typically luminous example from San Francisco.
