Description: The Crimson Collection. FS-302, the well-known S/S mintmark often referred to as "1875-$". Many collectors do not realize that this reverse is found with an obverse showing a nicely misplaced date, as the top of a "7" shows in the denticles beneath the correct placement. This lustrous, bisque-silver example without die cracks displays both features prominently due to the fresh, non-clashed dies.
