Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1864 L on Ribbon AU-58, and an 1873 Open 3 MS-64BN, both PCGS CACCAC
Lot Number: 658
Description: The slightly glossy surface for 1864 "L on ribbon" displays evidence of a faint die clash, and it is quite difficult to discern any actual wear to account for the AU-58 grade. A candidate for resubmission, perhaps? 1873 "open 3" most definitely shows no signs of circulation and features a very fair helping of mint red, in defiance of the BN designation. Both were struck just shy of four full diamonds within this two coin lot.
