Description: Alan Ready Collection. Sensational eye-appeal from 1881-S derives from the fully DMPL obverse, this side showing depth of reflectivity that can be measured from many feet away! You must see it to believe it. The reverse also seems fully prooflike and the cataloger suggests the coin go back to NGC to have that designation added. PCGS did denote "prooflike" for 1882-S, this an inimitably chrome-bright example that boasts a phenomenally accurate strike. Common dollars with uncommon visual appeal within a two coin lot.
