Description: The Crimson Collection. Bolender-13, BB-108 (R.3). A curious oversight on the part of the engraver left only ten arrow heads on the reverse, rather than the thirteen required to represent the original colonies, creating a scarce but popular variety. Splashes of gunmetal blue emanate from portions of the obverse and mix with almond-grey and darker tones, while the reverse tends to even out with general greyish and pewter-gold hues. Just enough flowline luster sneaks between peripheral stars and lettering to affirm the VF-35 grade.
