Description: Bolender-15, BB-112 (R.3). A die crack ejects to the ribbon above from the reverse shield's upper left point. Die rotation of perhaps 30 degrees appears to be frequently seen for the B-15 die-marriage, at least in the present die-state II. An unusually attractive example given how many of these have been cleaned or otherwise misused, denser graphite-grey toning gathers between and outside the stars, while ideal khaki-grey otherwise predominates. A curving darker toning string shows on the reverse but doesn't impair presentation in the slightest.
