Description: 12 graded MS-64+, 50 higher at NGC. A contender for inclusion in any serious set of Walking Liberty half-dollars, this very difficult example barely misses the gem level. Gorgeous, satin-laden luster gleams from beneath almond-gold accents, suggesting a very high level of original preservation. This issue apparently never comes fully struck and some central areas, such as the hand and the eagle's back leg lack ideal definition, but the clean presentation and softly glowing demeanor will entice strong bids.
