Description: The Now-And-Then Collection. The 1968 movie "The Odd Couple" starring Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau was so successful that it was the third-highest grossing movie of the year and spawned a five-year sitcom. Here is a numismatic "odd couple" equivalent, with one star a Russia 1903-AP 5-roubles (NGC MS-66), fY#62, Fineness: 0.9000, weight: 4.3013g, AGW: 0.1245oz struck off of heavily polished dies showing a single dark copper spot on either side. Accompanying is Venice-Ludovico Manin 1-zecchino (NGC AU-58), KM#C140, somewhat crudely produced as always and lightly double-struck, but seemingly fully uncirculated. Two coin lot.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
