Description: The Mount Richards Collection. The Spanish Trail is one of those commemorative types commonly found dipped or otherwise "enhanced", as the broad fields tend to attract disturbances that can affect the grade. Here is an astonishingly original example with full depth of patina, yet it still retains moderate luster. Very faint micro-ticks and an occasional hairline flash into view under persistent examination, but the "choice UNC" level seems appropriate given the marvelously well-preserved surface. A remarkable opportunity for the collector who values truly original quality.
