Description: Walk The Plank Collection. A quartet of more interesting half-dollars has been carefully attributed and warrants closer inspection by an specialists in the series. Included are: 1824 O-105 (XF/AU, pale white showing meaningless hairlines and loaded with luster), 1829/7 O-102a (VF/cleaned/retoned, cataloger's note: This is a "new" die state for O-102 attributed by noting a distinct radial die-crack through "9" in the date, and currently listed as "rare?" [R.5] in Steve Herrman's revision), 1832 O-101 "large letters" (Fine/VF, nice original), and 1836 O-116 "50/00" (VF/scratched, showing interesting velvety patina but some brief, deeper scratches at 4:00). Four coin lot.
