Description: S.B. Consignment. Capital plastics board sets are a very popular mode of displaying collections in a very open manner. It is very scarce to find a nearly complete collection of Mercury dimes to be displayed in this way but here it is. The only missing pieces of this numismatic puzzle are the 1916-D (represented by a second 1916-S) and the 1945-S Micro S which is not a very difficult to find example. While there are a vast number of valuable components the most notable examples are as follows: a 1916 (BU), a 1916-S (BU), a 1917-D (AU++), a 1917-S (AU), a 1918 (AU), a 1918-D (XF/AU), a 1918-S (AU, cleaned), a 1919 (AU), a 1919-D (AU), a 1920 (AU), a 1921 (VF, cleaned), a 1921-D (F), a 1923 (AU), a 1923-S (BU, cleaned), a 1926 (AU), a 1927 (AU++), and a 1931-D (BU). Many more above average examples litter this collection but there are too many to mention so please view this lot in person to fully appreciate its true value (ck).
