Description: Bradford Pear Collection. Keys to the series comprise this pairing, and should prove compatible given the relatively close grade range. First is 1877, smoothly worn with ideal brown color and a bold reverse. As always, the obverse has particularly shallow detail toward the obverse right side, but this is a beautiful no-problem example. A 1909-S might well reach F-15 given that LIBERTY reads very fully across the headband, showing minor weakness at a few letters. A very attractive, glossy brown example to round out this two coin lot.
