Description: Newcomb-6. A couple of minute chips in the die form "tears" beneath the eye, and these are joined by an even larger raised lump off the end of the bust. A marvelous gem with an equal and generous helping of both red and brown luster, the surfaces displays very little by way of distraction, that amounting to a pair of oblong abrasions between the twelfth star and the rim. A very brief section of the curl above the ear has the only incomplete definition, the rest of the coin being as sharp as possible for the type.
