Description: Ex-Redfield. Dollars from the famous hoard tend to be bagmarked due to poor storage choices, but this somewhat nice 1898-S has a practically clean cheek, much better than average for a Redfield survivor. The grade might even be better than our assigned MS-63 if not for an oblong nick on the eagle's breast, and many tiny abrasions scattered into the reverse fields.
