Description: Bolender-15, BB-51. Although the "off-center" obverse struck only a single die-marriage, it saw prodigious output, resulting in a readily obtainable Redbook variety (called the "Uncentered Bust" therein) that is popular with collectors. No die clashes show, perhaps implying an earlier die-state. PCGS suggests the coin has been "polished" although that infraction isn't specifically obvious as the coin appears to be just overly cleaned. Nevertheless, the surface exhibits glossy character in spite of some gunmetal-grey developing nearer the peripheral areas.
