Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1853 and 1862, both PCGS MS-62
Lot Number: 198
Description: An excellent strike marks the 1852 as a desirable example, but as is sometimes seen for this pair of dies in a later state, die cracks spear the stars directly on either side of Liberty's portrait. The 1862 dollar offers something of a semi-prooflike appearance, although abrading of the obverse fields probably diminishes the effect below the level necessary to garner any special designation. Two coin lot.
