The cataloger was able to examine the surfaces and it is astonishing how a coin of this heft and size can be so (near) perfectly struck. The fields flow with nearly molten appeal and exhibit a minute number of the most fleeting hairlines imaginable. Otherwise, this is a flawless example. Desirable and scarce, and represented by remarkably few recent sale events.
