Description: Not unlike the United States numismatic market, when it comes to Philippines coinage the big, bold, and beautiful one peso denomination reigns supreme. Twenty-seven such issues come together to form this very attractive group lot that offers a variety of conditions and dates. Included in this lot is 13 x 1907, 4x1908, and 10x 1909. Tight ranging grades put most of these examples between Extra Fine and Almost Uncirculated with several offering pleasant shades of coco brown and royal purple. The balance of the lot boasts traditional white luster that is slightly muted by the mild levels of circulation (ck).1
