Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1900 PCGS PR-67
Lot Number: 727
Description: 7 graded PR-67, 3 higher (all PR-67+) at PCGS. The accuracy of striking would almost seem impossible were this not a proof example, but even so, the truly adamant collector simply must gaze at the pinpoint details and appreciate the efforts of the minting process at the turn of the last century. Technically, the coin appears to be struck in full cameo format, but as usual, the overwhelming level of toning will unfairly prevent such a designation at PCGS. Exceedingly dense, heavily saturated wintergreen-blue, navy and cobalt-rose hues layer over the obverse, while the reverse displays splashes of cinnamon over pretty peppermint-blue.
