Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1792 PCGS Genuine/damage
Lot Number: 714
Description: Papa's Collection. Judd-7 can be inferred by the arrangement of the digits in the date as compared to NCE below. Furthermore, the star at the bottom of the reverse is rotated a bit counterclockwise, and points right up the right edge of "S" above. These attribution points are noted despite the significant loss of details due to "damage", referenced by PCGS. One might easily guess the coin was mounted at some time. Nevertheless, although technically struck outside of the mint in Philadelphia, these are considered the first official United States coins, and are considered invaluable as such, regardless of condition.
