Description: 2 graded MS-65+, 23 higher at PCGS. The "closed 3" appears to be slightly more common in high grades than the "open 3", but regardless of logotype, 1873 represents a very elusive date at or above MS-65+, as is borne out by the population reports. Some light cherry-gold hue has settled across the surfaces and infuses the beaming luster with lively eye-appeal. The leftmost Roman digit was not fully impressed, but most other details appear representative, at least.
