Description: Leontopodium Alpinum Collection. Noe-10. The top left serif of "X" on the date side is centered beneath 16 above, while on the pine-tree side, centering of the tree visibly favors the left half of the open field. PCGS mentions "plugged", which references a small, oval brassy area toward the upper right of the pine tree. The flan appears to be somewhat uneven with variously bent areas of the planchet, and a small dig off left of the center. Details present surprisingly well despite NGC's "corrosion" disclaimer, with bold definition handsomely outlined, and occasional finer motifs visible within the hair tresses. Striations appear over the obverse and are seemingly related to a past attempt to help smooth light overall roughness.
