Description: Crackle And Pop Collection. 129 graded MS-67, 12 higher at NGC. It isn't even fair to mention "scattered light abrasions" because in truth, only a couple of very delicate linear abrasions on the cheek, and mere surface grazes in the obverse left field are worthy of note. Gorgeous, frosty white brilliance generates intense, lustrous eye-appeal, enviable in quality for any issue from the series. A high mintage of more than 12-million pieces belies the scarcity of 1883 in superb grade, and this is a very well struck example.
