Description: 84 graded MS-66 DMPL, 6 higher at PCGS. For a Carson City survivor, for which the reputation is rife with bagmarks and abrasions, this is an incomparably smooth, pristine example. Delicate contact just grazes the dense frost on Liberty's cheek yet fails to break entirely through the surface, leaving the heavy matte appearance fully intact. Fields display (and magnify, as usual) even the tiniest intrusions, yet reflect images with unerring accuracy and depth of reflectivity. Add to all of this a strike of incredible accuracy, and a virtually untoned surface and one has as brazen a display of MS-66 DMPL quality as can be imagined.
