Description: 134 graded MS-67, 26 higher at NGC. That a nicer 1907 exists almost defies belief given the almost astonishing beauty of this 1907 quarter-eagle, perhaps terribly common even up through lower mint-state grades, but downright very rare above the present MS-67. High-mintage dates in the series often come with questionable sharpness over the eagle's at the left (observed) leg, but this example appears fairly crisp and nearly fully detailed in this trouble spot, while the rest of the coin is unreservedly sharp and as precisely struck as can be. A crisp, wonderfully satiny example with extremely limited tiny contact scribbles in the obverse left field.
