Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1885-S and 1886-S, both PCGS MS-63
Lot Number: 418
Description: Venerable Consignment. Exceedingly well struck and very pretty, 1885-S seems a bit nicer than MS-63 at first glance, although closer examination shows that the reed marks on and beneath the cheek are a bit deeper than usual. meagre butternut-gold patina endows 1886-S with an appealing, original appearance although the strike was not quite as ideally realized as for its companion. Mom always says: Don't play ball in the house. Instead, come to the auction and win this two coin lot.
