Description: New Orleans looms large with this pair of choice Morgan dollars. Frist is 1882-O, possibly a "wonder coin" in terms of sharpness as the hair strands waving over Liberty's ear are struck to perfection. The eagle's tongue even stands up in bold relief, and to top it off, the coin obviously possess strong prooflike contrast (DMPL on the reverse!). 1903-O shows terrific frosty luster and a decent strike, and appears a bit off-white, especially compared to its companion. Two coin lot.
