Description: Kansas City Collection. VAM-2, with distinctive die chips within the 8s and a die scratch tethered to the olive branch. 227 graded MS-65 DMPL, 81 higher at PCGS. Here is an optic-bomb for the collector who wants his Morgan dollars to be as brilliant and bright and flashy as they possibly can be. While not one of the very first examples struck, as can be inferred by thin-band luster in the fields, the contrast easily satisfies expectations of the DMPL designation and inimitable contrast will please everyone. Reflectivity probably reaches a depth of several feet, and the strike is, absolutely and without question, complete on both sides.
