Description: Captain Jack Collection. VAM-4, Top-100. Viewed from either side, this is an utterly incredible arctic-white example that looks like it was struck out of an Alaskan snowbank. Not the slightest hint of toning affects either side. What sets this example apart from many examples, besides the "gem" grade of course, is the exceedingly sharp strike that argues for "full strike" nomenclature. Even the curls above the ear were ideally delineated by the dies, although limited abrasions have flattened them a bit. The eagle's breast feathers remain fully realized.
