Lot Title: 1879-S NGC MS-65 Star, and an 1880-S PCGS MS-65
Lot Number: 368
Description: The Alabama Collection. In real estate, it's all about "location, location, location". For common silver dollars, it's "eye-appeal, eye-appeal, eye-appeal" and that's exactly what's offered up by this pairing. Upon either sides of 1879-S, a stunning, vivid rainbow cascades down the left third, more or less, replete with deeply saturated crimson-gold, midnight aqua, teal and auburn hues. It is a truly stunning and nearly fully struck example. Gorgeous, deep-sea blue, rose-grey and shimmering violet-chartreuse hues surround most of either side of 1880-S, and strike quality nears perfection for this sublime example. Two coin lot.
