Description: The Mastodon Collection. Quality may be a smidge nicer than MS-61 if only because the reverse appears to be a full point better than the obverse, as only tiny stray abrasions whisper into the fields. On the obverse, as usual, the bright, shimmering fields show a plethora of bagmarks that inexorably determine the grade. A sharply defined, brilliant example, very much representative of the famous bag hoard from which nearly all 1860-O (and 1859-O) dollars originate.
