Description: Two-Three-Four Collection. Appealing almond-grey layers over the entire surface, consistent in hue and character from edge to edge, sparing perhaps a touch of beige upon both rims. The dies have conferred an unusually fine strike for the date, possibly semi-prooflike when first struck and certainly flashy even today. Indeed, the eagle's motif on the reverse is entirely frosted as if struck like a proof. Even a low-grade UNC would offer hardly any advantage over this lovely AU-58 so bargain hunters should certainly take note of this attractive offering.
