Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1814/3 PCGS AU-58
Lot Number: 199
Description: Camden Hall Consignment. Bass-Dannreuther-1. In this die-state, both sides feature strong clash marks, especially beneath the point of Liberty's bust where E PLURIBUS is actually legible without magnification! Gill marks stretch across Liberty's ear and help to camouflage some innocuous adjustment marks in their vicinity. The surface glitters somewhat despite touch-friction from very brief circulation, and it's possible the coin was semi-prooflike when first struck, as some strong reflectivity still remains visible on both sides. Nothing at all in terms of contact marks affects this prized example, but delicate little curving hairlines occasionally dart across the surface.
