Description: Bass-Dannreuther-4, R.5. The first star touches the lower left curl, the top left serif of "1" stands just clear of the portrait, the end of the flag of "5" barely penetrates the portrait, and two points of the final star point to the bust. The reverse is the trickier side, with the best pickup points being the way a leaf joins the bottom of "U" in UNITED, "E" stands just clear of the eagle's wing, and the "R" below the same wing barely touches it. This coin has certainly been cleaned, but only lightly and the cataloger feels like a simple "silent net grade" would have been a more reasonable way to handle the situation. The coin is more than pretty enough to be given a straight grade and it will undoubtedly end up in a more "proper" holder at some point.
