Description: Reasonably available even at the gem level, 1927 is rife with possibilities for the type collector, although one might be wise to focus upon an especially well struck example like the present piece. The eagle's shoulder displays every conceivable intricacy, and every possible vestige of detail emerges from the headdress, right down to the extreme tip of individual feathers. A lovely, delightful example.
