Description: Just terrific for the grade, 1854 "type 2" features substantial mint luster, especially the reverse, which has the essential appearance of mint-state. 1857 likewise seems perfectly graded at AU-58, a legitimate "slider" with no actual wear on the devices, and only minimal friction within the fields. Perfect grades given by NGC to this lustrous, attractive two coin lot.
