Description: The Mastodon Collection. 1 graded MS-62+, 48 higher at NGC. Proof strikings exist for the Hawaiian dollar, but for those not interested in shelling out thirty-thousand dollars for one, a comparably choice example like the present, lustrous NGC MS-62+ may well suffice. Eye-appeal asserts itself quickly as this is an example with fantastic luster -- potent and windmilling rapidly beneath a gentle layer of platinum-blonde patina. The reverse appears to be completely choice and exceptionally attractive all by itself, but closer inspection of the obverse fields reveals a minor amount of "noise" that might have held the grade back just a smidge.
