With minute mintages and a growing collector demand these sets are becoming increasingly difficult to attain, especially accompanied by their original government packaging. This six coin 1927 Great Britain proof set is certified by PCGS as follows: a 1 Crown PR-64 S-4036, a ½ crown PR-65 S-4037, a 1 Florin PR-64 S-4038, a 1 Shilling PR-65 S-4039, a 6 Pence PR-65 S-4040 Acorn Reverse, and a 3 Pence PR-64 S-4042 Brilliant. There is no doubt that this is an original six coin set as each and every example boasts nearly identical toning that is dominated by deep magentas and trace amounts of electric blues (ck).
