Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1795 NGC VF-20
Lot Number: 827
Description: Overton-116 (R.4) has the first star piercing the first curl, the second star points slightly above the second curl, there is a diagnostic die lump just right of the point of the bust (next to the fifteenth star), and on the reverse, a noticeable die line projects upward and right from the extreme point of the eagle's right (observed) wing. As a type, the example offered fits virtually everyone's concept if ideal quality given the lovely pearl-grey color and smooth, problem-free surface. Any attempt to locate notable departures from perfection prove fruitless, as this is an exceedingly original coin that features only minute, scattered contact marks perfectly in keeping with the "very fine" grade level. Bold presence, with significant delineation of internal feather details of the eagle's wings (scotia).
