Description: The bottom margin is full and plump, and aside from the extremely tight top margin, one must give kudos for the overall centering. Most Confederate $500s have ink that tends to bleed from front to back, but not only does this example offer exceptionally rich magenta-red (per PMG's disclaimer), but the back of the note presents unusually well for a uniface production. An altogether remarkable example.
