Description: Tantalizingly close to BU, each side exhibits seemingly mint-state luster, although some feathery hairlines linger over the reverse and suggest a very slight level of wear. Evidently an earlier die-state, the orange peel effect seen on later strikes has not yet formed, allowing the flowline texture to retain fine, velvety smoothness. An outstanding and affordable alternative to an expensive Choice BU specimen.
