Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1921 NGC MS-67
Lot Number: 660
Description: Bicameral Collection. 12 graded MS-67, zero higher at NGC. By association with the 1921-S, which is almost impossible to find "nice", the 1921 commands little reputation for use in type purposes, but take a look at this astonishing, zoom-luster specimen. Typical strikes for bison nickels might show frosty texture only in the fields, but for this example, interior details erupt with astounding frosty texture, even between the strands of the Indian's hair and at the bison's shoulder. The visual effect is certainly mesmerizing. Almond-gold overall with very subtle platinum highlights, eye-appeal flies off the charts as one might hope for a "top grade" coin. It's pretty much impossible to locate any contact marks, although patient observation will find one minute, shiny tick on the Indian's lip.
