Description: Tinges of flowline effect remain on either side and readily affirm the grade level. The entire surface remains especially free from contact, a problem that affects many upper-circulated-grade 1955 doubled-die cents. Some collectors feel that the doubling effect can actually be sharper on a slightly circulated example, and that almost seems to be the case here, as the lovely, dramatic doubling can easily be observed without a loupe.
