Description: Bert Davies Collection. Under a good lamp, fascinating colors erupt from 1895, including somewhat concentric rings of peach-gold, lime-green, teal, indigo-magenta and deeply saturated wild-orchid at the centers. A singular bagmark on the cheek undoubtedly determines the grade. LIBERTY stands up bold and strong for 1909-S, and the equivalent of approximately two diamonds remain on this terrific planchet. Two coin lot.
