Description: Despite the "proof" designation implied by the PCGS grade assessment, the appearance very much mimics that of a beautifully produced circulation strike, replete with somewhat rounded edges, as viewed from either side. Nevertheless, one can plainly see and appreciate the unusual sharpness throughout. The headdress feathers are incised precisely, all the way to their tips, with an amazingly faithful rendition of the wreath seen on the reverse. Ideal color with a lot of pizzazz, framed within modestly dazzling fields.
