Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1891-O PCGS MS-64+ CACCAC
Lot Number: 442
Description: 146 graded MS-64+, 149 higher at PCGS. Provenance: "California" per PCGS. High mintage near 9-million pieces may have contributed to the fact that most 1891-O silver dollars seen offer poor detail and indifferent appeal. These constraints nearly go by the wayside for this example, as flatness is isolated to the central obverse and a limited portion of the eagle's breast feathers. Luster on both sides looks terrific, most definitely better than usual for 1891-O, and very few abrasions disturb the surface.
