Description: Exquisite toning is the point of emphasis that inspired the "star' designation at NGC for this pair of generally common silver dollars. Brilliant, blazing rainbow colors drape down the left third of the obverse of 1886, and a sliver of the reverse left shows a compressed sliver of vivid colors, the balance of each side sheer white. Just about exactly one half of the obverse of1887 features gorgeous rainbow colors, captivating the eye with brilliant shades of ocean blue, cinnamon, ruby-chartreuse, verdant green and almond-gold. Two coin lot.
