Description: Sam Lawrence Collection. When it comes to collecting common date BU rolls of Morgan silver dollars the 1881-O is amongst the toughest to find. Even though the mintage figures are robust the poor minting practice of the New Orleans mint coupled with heavy circulation to make this year a slightly more difficult find in uncirculated grades. Grades range anywhere from MS-60 through MS-63 within this twenty count roll of blast white examples. Certainly appears to be an original roll that has been transplanted to a newer tube (ck).
