Description: Able Evangel Consignment. VAM-3, the so-called "capped CC" reverse. Were the luster just a hint brighter, and the toning just a dash lighter, the MS-62 grade would definitely seem too low given how clean the surfaces remain, decades after the GSA sale (which might be the source for this dollar, though that is not mentioned on the slab). Although the central obverse strike lacks precision, the reverse seems surprisingly sharp and offers a full complement of breast feathers.
