Description: Bolender-16, BB-187. Midway between the lower left serif of "E" in LIBERTY and the curl point below rests a small, raised dot, and in this common die-state, the die-crack through the right side of the last zero in the date curves up to the drapery and bends over toward the chin. On the reverse, defects between the final "S" of STATES and the rim show clearly. The surface is a bit barren and features stark pewter-grey overall, yet some slightly richer golden tint begins to develop between peripheral devices. Aside from a couple of old hairline scratches, nothing detracts from the typically abraded surface.
